Brimstone (Human Wizard)

Brimstone the Wizard

Brimstone is the Greatest Wizard that ever lived. Pyromaniac tendencies. I constantly smoke a long fancy bone pipe with a skull head for a pot for the tobacco. I love to light the pipe using a miniature firebolt cantrip. My arcane focus is one of the crystals that make up the skulls "eyeballs" I have some stolen tomes on devil and demon arcana from my previous employer (I rescued them from the fire - which I didn't accidently start - honest !!) which I am trying to decipher. I am obsessed with Devils / Demons and want to find out how they "work" - must be somthing to do with them using fire. (I have learned their languages). Often my obsession with magical fire causes accidents, which can result in bad effects for my employer. (it is at this point I am forced to move on to new employment in a hurry) My faced and upper body is badly burned and scared (Low Charisma - due to me looking at my fingers while casting burning hands spell when I first tried it out) I worked in the Library at Baldurs Gate since I was a young man, gaining knowledge through my work as a book keeper. After reading so many tomes in my spare time, (some magical) Their power began to rub off on me, and I gained the basic powers of magic and could call myself technically a Wizard. (this occurred some 6 years ago) I have not had any formal Wizard training and am effectively self taught. I now have a crazed thirst for more knowledge and have developed an unhealthy liking for magic involving fire !. (nothing to do with the burned down library - honest) I am fascinated with fire magic and elemental control, and can't resist an excuse to try and light something or blow something up.
